Alfred Pobi has more than 15 years of experience in tech sales, working with major global companies including JP Morgan, HSBC, Citibank and Credit Agricole.

Alfred previously worked in global sales for the RELX group. In this role he generated more than $4 million over three years, growing revenues to over $14 million. He acted as the new business and global account manager of tier one financial institutions and fintechs and was also responsible for the day-to-day management of three direct reports. In this position, Alfred was the first person in the team to hit NB targets regarding Accuity and FircoSoft for four consecutive years.

Alfred sits on the executive committee of the Black Googler Network; in this role he has budgetary responsibilities and is involved in organising community events and chairing and supporting meetings. He also contributes to the network’s diversity, equity, inclusion and equality initiatives.

To relax, Alfred loves to read and cites some of his favourite books as The Power of Positive Thinking, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Le Petit Prince and The Alchemist. He also enjoys taking part in athletic events, going to the gym and playing football and basketball. Alfred is multilingual and has visited over 40 countries across the continents of Asia, Africa, Europe and North America.
